The smell of the soles is absolutely horrific. The chemical smell is unbearable.

I have been buying these for many, many years. I have occasionally had some that were not as good quality as usual, but for the most part I am very happy with them. They don't make your feet too hot, like the fleece lined ones do. You have to be sure you get the ones with the sole sewn about 3/4 in up the sides. The ones that have a flat sole with a slight heel do NOT last! The sole peels off!

I only checked Yes because these mocs are still good for around the house. They were better quality and a better buy at $10.99
When I unpacked the latest order I could tell the moccasins were lighter weight suede and flimsy. Previously a pair would last 6 months of constant wear, even running to the mailbox or the store. These, after one month show wear and don't hold their shape.
They are still a decent buy. One tip. As soon as you get them, tie an extra knot in the side of the laces. The knot comes undone easily and it's a pain to try to re-thread the cord.

I ordered 2 pair of these slippers a couple of years ago. I was very happy with them so I ordered 2 pair this year. They were not the same quality or value as the earlier pairs. It is hard to explain the difference but as soon as I unpacked the new ones I could tell that they were not made the same. I ordered the same size for both of them but one pair was bigger than the other. The older ones were a very sturdy slipper but not the new ones. The suede was inferior as well as the craftsmanship. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I LOVE these moccasins! The terry lining keeps your feet cool. I have been wearing these for YEARS!! You can even wash them in the washer, stuff them with paper towels and let them air dry. They will again fit like new and they last FOREVER. Buy several pair!!
