I have had this style before and was surprised that these seem to run slightly shorter then my others. Hoping that they will stretch out a little as time goes by. I ordered the medium width and it does seem to be a little narrower then most medium widths. (As others have stated.) I do hope the manufacturer hasn't done this on purpose.
I bought two pair and really don't want to return them so I am going to see if I can get them to stretch a little. I ordered another style of Dr. Scholl's shoes and they fit just fine.

This is comfortable shoe, it is Dr Scholl"s. But the shoes make a squeaking noise when I walk. I hope this works out as I wear them. I have other Dr Scholls shoes and they do not make this noise. I do agree with the shoes being narrow, ordered half size larger and they just fit. Could have ordered even a size larger!

Ordered this shoe for my mom who is in a nursing home and mostly wheelchair bound as I can no longer find the Dr. Scholl's velcro sneakers in any stores. That's the same size shoe & the same name brand that I've been buying her for the last 10 years and they always fit over her braces perfectly. However, I knew the second I opened the package that these were most likely not going to fit her & unfortunately I was right. I knew from first glance that they are the narrowest "wide" width shoe that I have ever seen. I actually thought they sent narrow width, but then remembered that is not even an option. The brace is always inserted into the shoe first and left in place making it much easier for her as she can just slide into the brace & shoe in one motion. I opened the velcro closure completely & it is absolutely impossible to insert the braces into these shoes due to the lack of width. I do not understand how this Dr. Scholl's shoe could vary so greatly compared to what I used to get her. Will be returning & not sure what to do at this point as what's available in local stores that will work for her, literally fall apart within less than a week. The soles & extra toe wrap peel right off & generally gluing is a waste of time/effort & the whole thing is a waste of money. Poor overall rating is due to width issue, but otherwise it appears to be a very well made shoe & a good value. Always loved the Dr. Scholl's shoes, sneaks, & sandals for mom and myself. Wish they were still available in the local stores so as to avoid the wait time of delivery & the extra expense of returning.

I have these shoes in black and in red. They are very comfortable and easy to put on, thanks to the Velcro tab. I wore them after my knee replacement surgery because they were so easy to get into.
Great for walking. Look terrific with slacks or jeans.
I ordered my regular size.

When I was a nurse aide I could wear these for a double shift with no discomfort. I wish that I had bought some in black back when they were 21.99!!

I love the feel of Dr. Scholl's leather walkers. I"ve never found another casual shoe that I can wear all day that make my feet feel good at the end of the day like Dr. Scholl's one-strap leather walkers. One of the best features is the one strap which makes it so convenient to put take on and off.

These are the absolutely most comfortable casual shoes I have. They are great when one foot is just a little different in size than the other because of the adjustable velcro strap. I have one pair and would like to have more in the different colors.
